I think that what you wrote was actually very logical. But, what about this? suppose you added a little information? I am not suggesting your information isn't solid, however what if you added something that grabbed folk's attention? I mean BLOG_TITLE is kinda boring. You should look at Yahoo's front page and see how they write article headlines to get people to click. You might add a video or a related pic or two to grab people interested about everything've written. In my opinion, it would bring your blog a little livelier.
